Throughout February the children have experienced a variety of trips out as the weather is getting nicer linking to their current topics. The under-two’s unit visited a local sensory room where they had lots of fun exploring all the different lights, sounds and buttons.
Throughout January the children have experienced a variety of different messy play activities exploring different textures. This allows the children to make their own discoveries using their senses, curiosity and knowledge.
The children have been joining in with a variety of different festive activities throughout December. Our books for Bedtime has been lots of fun for both the children and parents as we added a range of Christmas books for you to enjoy together.
This month the Under-Two’s unit have had lots of fun exploring all things Autumn. They have made a variety of different sensory trays, using pine cones, leaves, cereals, paints and water.
Conkers are such a part of the British Autumn that we thought we’d find a fun way to use our conker collection! The children have enjoyed creating their own masterpieces in the garden, painting with a variety of colours.
Most children enjoy a good messy painting experience, this will allow them to freely express themselves and develop their creativity.
