My Smile is an accreditation awarded to early years settings that implement the four steps of the award. These create a tooth friendly environment for young children, helping to protect their oral health.

Another fantastic month here at Blackberries where the children took part in a range of educational learning opportunities both inside and outside the setting. We have incorporated special days celebrated throughout April which have included Easter, World Earth Day, and Ramadan.

It has been a busy month throughout March, in the nature garden for some amazing Forest School sessions. One of our focus stories has been ‘A Stroll Through the Seasons’, where the children have been looking at what the seasons of Spring look like and the difference between the seasonal changes of Winter to Spring.

February has been a busy month with the children exploring the inside and outdoor environments, learning about the changing seasons, and extending their activities through their own individual interests.
