Baby Unit:
This month the babies have had great fun exploring different themes of water play. To integrate stimulation for other babies sense, we have been adding in a variety of textures and smells to the water, which has included hair gel, shaving foam, bubble bath, conditioner and more! The babies have really enjoyed the different themes of water play, and particularly enjoyed splashing to make lots of bubbles.
Little Toddlers:
What fun our Little Toddler’s had at their Stay and Play Day! Both children and parents got creative during our role play playdough activity where we made lots of yummy treats to bake in the oven. We also took the fun outside where we played with the bubbles and had splashingly good fun in the water tray! Thank you to everyone who came along, we look forward to seeing you again next time
Over Two’s:
The Over 2’s units have really enjoyed our music and movement sessions this month, and have been experimenting with different ways of moving around. We have been using pom-poms, ribbons and musical instruments in our music and movement session to add to the fun, and to also practice making different levels of sound. The children have also really enjoyed our different threading activities, where we have used some unique resources to practice our fine motor skills. Making our playdough and spaghetti hedgehogs was by far the favourite activity, where the children used beads and pasta to create our happy hedgehogs.
