by Aug 30, 2019News, Wisbech Latest News0 comments

Throughout August our Under Two’s have been learning Nursery Rhymes. They have really enjoyed their morning musical sessions with “What’s in the box” selecting a rhyme of choice and joining in with the actions.

Their favourites are The Wheels on the Bus, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Baa Baa Black Sheep.

The babies and young toddlers have been exploring Nursery Rhymes through creativity with paint, making various marks with objects, stamps and paintbrushes.

Our Big Toddler’s and Pre-schooler’s have been talking about life Under the Sea as their topic for August.

Big Toddler’s Core Story of the month has been Clumsy Crab by Ruth Galloway.

As part of their “Have a go at home” with parents, the Toddlers decorated fish templates, in bright colours, shiny sequins and beautiful fabrics. The children were all very proud of their artwork.

Our Pre-schoolers Core story of the month book has been Jolly Olly Octopus by Tony Mitton and Guy Parker-Rees.
