Baby Unit

We have been focusing on song time by singing nursery rhymes and action songs to encourage communication and language whilst imitating actions, words and sounds. The babies have also explored a variety of musical instruments by shaking, tapping or banging creating lots of sounds and noise whilst we are singing.

We have had our stay and play session to enable parent’s to participate in different range of activities with their children. We had lots of fun cooking with our parents, at one table we did the mixture for the cakes and the other table was decorating and making ladybirds cupcakes. Once we finished cooking we went in to the room and did some paper plates ladybirds with children and their parents, parents have helped them to count the spots on the ladybird and then stick googly eyes on it.

The Pre-School held a leaver’s prom for the children leaving us to transition to their primary schools. The children dressed up in their finery and enjoyed a red carpet entrance to this event. The children enjoyed party games a disco and a delicious buffet prepared by our in house Chef.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our leavers Good Luck for the future.
