At Blackberries we celebrate Staff Achievements. Within our valued team, our Group Early Years Professional leads our team of Level 6 Staff who all hold BA Hons Degrees in Early Years.
Our Nursery settings benefit from dedicated Early Years teachers, who bring with them many different experiences, sharing a passion to make a difference in the lives of babies and young children. Our Team have a strong knowledge of early development and the ability to forge positive relationships with other professionals and work closely with parents and carers in the best interests of children. Their support to our setting staff enhances our safe learning environments and enriches our standards of progress and outcomes responding to the needs of all children.
In addition Blackberries Nursery settings benefit from our Senior SEND Champion who provides support to our Designated team of SENCO’s at each setting within our Nursery group. Our Nursery SENCO team are at the heart of supporting and advising colleagues in-house, with the day to day support for children with SEN and disabilities. Our qualified team bring additional expertise with a strong focus on early action to address identified needs, critical to the future progress and improved outcomes that are essential in helping all children.
Our Designated Safeguarding team undertake lead responsibility for safeguarding children in every setting. The designated practitioner is responsible for liaison with local statutory children’s services and with the LSCB. They provide support, advice and guidance to all staff on an ongoing basis, providing in-house training and support on any specific safeguarding issue as required.
