Under Two’s
This month we all celebrated “World Book Day”! What fun we all had dressed up as our favourite Book characters and we shared our favourite stories with our friends, creating props to support role play and also creating our own story boards! We had great fun!
Big Toddlers
This month the Big Toddler unit have joined in with “British Science Week”, investigating and exploring in many fun-filled activities. One of our favourite activities has been exploring the different colours in the skittles, and experimenting by adding water which made a beautiful rainbow. We also had a go at adding colouring to the water flowers were drinking, to experiment with adding colours to the petals. We also had a very exciting visit from Councillor Ray Bisby who judged our Easter Bonnet Competition! Thank you to everyone who joined in, we were amazed with the fantastic creations made!
Pre-school
The month of march has been great fun! We have taken part in “British Science Week” and have joined in with lots of different experiments. We really enjoyed making slime, which was great fun to explore, as well as creating our own rain clouds. We have also been celebrating Healthy Eating Week where we taste-tested and talked about all different healthy foods. The children also had a very exciting visit from some local Policemen, who spoke to us about being safe and the job the police do. We even got into the back of the police van and turned the lights on!
