Babies

The Babies have been using the sensory room to explore different ways of moving and looking at ourselves in the mirror. We have also been learning to feed ourselves at lunch time.

Little Toddlers

We have been exploring shaving foam with green and blue colours with the dinosaurs exploring making different marks. To make the most of the warm weather we have been exploring water and paint brushes making different mark on the fences.

Big Toddlers

The children were exploring the sand and blue coloured tissue with glue and encouraged them to create a picture of the beach. They explored the original beach pictures and created their own beach pictures. They talk about their experiences and enjoyed the activity.

The children are exploring the nature garden and look at the flowers. They talked about the flowers and looked for the insects and observed the way the bees are gathering honey and how the butterflies are enjoying the flowers. The adult supported them to understand about the growing and how we can see flowers in the summer.

The children were given different colours and encouraged them to mix them and make marks on the boxes. They explored the paint on the boxes and shared the paint and the brushes with help. The children also learnt to wear aprons with a little help and after they made sum trucks with the painted boxes and carried toys around the garden.

Pre-School

The children have enjoyed a range of activities over the last few weeks. The theme is summer so we have been looking at holidays and types of weather. We have also been very busy making decorations for the pre-schoolers leaving party as well as still getting ready for school.

For the party, the children have helped to make banners, play/blow up balloons and wrap up presents for pass the parcel.
