During the month of February the our younger children have enjoyed exploring books and listening to stories, their favourite being Dear Zoo.
Our older children continue to enjoy the Superworm story. Over the past weeks the children have been observing the worms moving in their wormery. Using the handheld microscopes they were able to look at the worms very closely. Did you know that even though worms don’t have eyes, they can sense light, especially at their anterior?
We visited the Tudors care home where the children gave the residents artwork Hugs that they had made.
Spring is here and the children are exploring the cycle of plants in gardening club. We have been planting Gladioli bulbs to watch them grow. We are very excited to what colours they will be.
We are also preparing the grow beds to plant our potatoes when the early morning frost stops.
Have ago at home.
