This month the Under-Two’s unit have had lots of fun exploring all things Autumn. They have made a variety of different sensory trays, using pine cones, leaves, cereals, paints and water. Which supports the children’s sensory skills as well as their fine motor skills.

We also jumped in the pushchairs to visit our local park, where we discovered lots of leaves, of different colours and sizes. This supports your child’s development by encouraging their communication and language skills, talking about what they have found. As well as introducing Maths to the children talking about things that are big and little.

Why not support your child’s learning at home, by using our books for bedtime scheme?

We have recently added more touchy, feely sensory books to support the younger children in developing their first words.
