Little Toddlers:
In the Little Toddler unit we have been really enjoying learning our new song “Take a Ride in my Car”. To tie in with our new song, we took part in lots of fun creative activities including creating a giant car using tissue paper, as well as creating tyre tracks by rolling cars down the slide and over large pieces of paper. We all had great fun! We loved singing the song, banging our hands on our thighs to join in with the actions.
Big Toddlers:
The children in Big toddlers have really enjoyed getting messy this month using lots of different materials including paint, flour, and lots of glitter. The children have created lots of lovely artwork, including firework, winter and Christmas pictures. The children loved getting very messy in the flour, running both their fingers through and cars to make different marks.
Preschool:
The children in Preschool have been very busy making and tasting soup. We talked about and explored all the different vegetables we can grow and add to the soup. This month we have also been focusing on the children’s pencil control, following the different lines on paper to create different letters and marks.
