This month we enjoyed our Father’s Day Stay and Play session where our Dads, Grandads and uncles joined us for a fun filled session. We have continued with our Father’s Day theme through many activities and experiences, and the children have enjoyed creating lovely gifts and cards to send home. The children have also enjoyed exploring many different types of sensory play. Gloopy spaghetti was one of our favourites to investigate.
This month the Big Toddlers have been continuing to learn about transport and different vehicle types. The children had lots of fun making their own paper plate cars using a variety of mark-making resources. We enjoyed integrating mathematics into our activities by counting out how many wheels and windows they wanted on their car, as well as talking about their shapes and sizes. We also had our Father’s Day Stay and Play session this month, where we were joined by our Dads, Grandads and uncles for a fun filled session. Thank you to everyone who came along.
In Preschool we have enjoyed embracing the current sport theme, the World Cup. The children have enjoyed talking about football and other sports, and getting creative to design their very own football or make their own flag. This month we also enjoyed our Father’s Day Stay and Play Day, where our Dads, Grandads and uncles joined us for a fun filled session. We had great fun taking part in many activities, and particularly enjoyed our small world play with Dinosaurs in the garden. Thank you to everyone who joined us.
