What a wonderful month it has been, it has been great to welcome back some more children in phase 2.

In out bubble one group we have been exploring Heuristic play which has led to a fascination of posting and threading objects so we can practice our fine motor skills. We will be sharing further information about Heuristic play with our parents shortly, but for now a Fun Fact: The word Heuristic come from the word “Eureka” which is also about those Wow moments.

Both Bubble groups have been testing their physical abilities exploring the risky play obstacle course, which has developed our confidence, hand/ eye coordination and our ability to assess risks. We have been working together to help our peers over the obstacles and have learnt if we put our arms outwards, we are more balanced.

Fun Fact: The morale of the story The Three Little Pigs is that hard work and dedication pays off – which link nicely with The Characteristics of Effective Learning – Keep on Trying.

Keep a look out on our website – Parent story hub for a version of The Three Little Pigs to share at home

We have also said Goodbye to some of our friends who are leaving to go to school in September, we held a social distanced lunch party and tried on a graduation gown and mortarboard. We had lots of music and bubbles.

We wish you the best of luck at school!
