This month our Babies and Little Toddlers have enjoyed exploring our Summer themed role play area. The children have loved having a go in our “indoor swimming pool”, and having a go at trying on lots of different summer hats and sunglasses. We have even been able to have an ice-cream in our summer role play area, which we took to our “beach”, and then had fun making sandcastles.
This month the Toddlers have enjoyed exploring the outdoor area as we have been developing our gross motor skills. We have explored our tent and tunnel, as well as created an obstacle course with a challenging balance beam to get over. We have also been developing our mathematics skills, and have enjoyed taking part in a variety of activities to support the children’s number recognition, counting, sorting and identifying patterns too.
This month we took part in a Sports Day to celebrate the many milestones the children have achieved in our weekly All4Sports sessions. The children enjoyed taking part in the many races, obstacle courses and relay games. A big well done to you all!
This month we have said goodbye to some of our Preschool children who are leaving us this term to go to School. It has been a pleasure watching you all grow and develop over the years. Thank you to everyone who came along to our Princess and Pirate fun-filled party. We had many games and activities, including walk-the-plank, biscuit decorating, carnival games and face painting. We wish you all the very best for the future.
