March Nursery October 2018 | Masterpieces in the garden

Conkers are such a part of the British Autumn that we thought we’d find a fun way to use our conker collection! The children have enjoyed creating their own masterpieces in the garden, painting with a variety of colours.

Most children enjoy a good messy painting experience, this will allow them to freely express themselves and develop their creativity.

To support your child’s learning further at home you could create a masterpiece together, we would love to see some pictures. You could use a variety of Autumn objects, conkers, acorns, paint, pencils, or pumpkins!

Please ensure children are supervised at all times!

Our core story for this topic is We’re going on a leaf hunt!

It is available in our Blackberries Books for Bed time for you to take home and enjoy with your children. We have had fun looking for different coloured leaves in the garden as well as out on our trips, what colour leaves can you find?
