Our Outstanding Nursery provision was recognised by Fenland District Councils for maintaining the highest award of ‘Five’ since the scheme was introduced in 2011. The scheme is run by Fenland District Council and other local authorities in England, Wales and Northern Ireland in partnership with the Food Standards Agency (FSA).
Debbie Hutler attended the Celebration along with other local businesses on Wednesday 17th June 2015 at Fenland Hall March.
The award is much appreciated as the Outstanding Nursery Group works hard to provide Healthy Nutritious Food to all of its children and families. In¬ House Chefs combine traditional home cooking with international recipes offering children different tastes. Children are encouraged to eat vegetables and fresh fruit every day that are delivered using locally home grown produce.
Children enjoy weekly cooking groups which encourage them to understand basic food hygiene and to have fun in the preparation of healthy food to take home to share! Blackberries share in the ‘Food For Life Programme’ and the children enjoy growing their own fruit and vegetables.
